One of our leading client is looking for a Business Development Manager for their Lahore Head office.
1. Build a strong relationship within the allocated Region in identifying global opportunities and attracting new trade and investment to the Lahore Region and its businesses units.
2. Together with the Business Intelligence team, compile & provide analytical reports on market size & opportunities for Lahore Region & the allocated Region for all cargo types & leading commodities seeking improved business strategies.
3. Develop Regional BD strategy seeking new business opportunities across identified industry & commodity verticals for all company BU’s, with focus on new trade flows to our terminals and investment to our zones.
4. Develop and Execute Regional BD plan inclusive of annual customer outreach and marketing plan.
a. Identify target customers and business opportunities to be pursued always maintaining a sales pipeline till closure.
b. Identify & develop a portfolio of accounts to offer them a range of (tailor-made) solutions
c. Screens potential new business opportunity by firming up Business Ideas in Brief, Initial commercial feasibility study and financials.
d. Prepare presentations to management and recommendations for investment approvals

5. Tender Management:
- Lead the RFI/RFQ/RFP response as required, Dissecting and reviewing the tender documents in detail and validating summaries.
- Driving procurement (establishing costs/rates) of the relevant services offered to customers
- Calculating relative and absolute profit estimates per service component for sign off by management.
- Defining and driving project plans for tenders and communicating same to stakeholders
6. Engage in periodic marketing, new product development input and customer support activities and conduct regular prospective visits to customers in the targeted areas.
7. Prepare and maintain BD Regional reports for monthly and quarterly review with management
8. Establish and maintain relations with targeted regions, consulates, trade promotion bodies and business forums..
9. Business Development Manager will Perform additional assignments and projects as requested by the Business/Management
